Power is a force we carry within us—a fire that can illuminate, transform, or consume, depending on how we tend it. This class explores personal power through the solar plexus, the radiant center of selfhood, and asks us to reflect on how we relate to power dynamics internally and externally.

Through guided meditation and deep reflection, we will explore what fuels and what dims our inner fire. What stories have we inherited about power? Where do we give it away? How do we reclaim it? Writing will serve as a portal for self-inquiry, helping us articulate our relationship to power and its presence in our lives.    

Now that the portal has been opened, you are ready to burn away what is no longer for you.

Discover what blocks your creative path and claim the power of release. In this class, we'll practice ritual burning and deep trance work to honor necessary endings. You'll forge tools for turning surrender into fertile ground where new work can finally take root. And, to demonstrate to our selves the surprise and pleasure of release, we will play with blackout poetry and reflect on its effects as both a writer and reader.

Now that you have identified what must die, you are ready to listen closely to your body.

Your body is the only oracle you need. In this class, we will practice listening to our body by asking good questions. With questions, we enter the territory of sensation, symbol, and story—the body's intuitive language. The answers we receive may arrive as warmth or tension, an image, or a phrase that feels both familiar and strange. In this class, we will respond to the messages we receive from our bodies, after and inside of an immersive trance meditation. 

Now that you have listened closely to what your body has shared, you are ready for the desert.

When did nothing become something? Creative emptiness is fertile ground for revelation. This class teaches you to value scarcity as a powerful teacher, revealing resources you didn’t know you possessed. Through reframing creative blocks and deep peer work, you will develop a personal language for capturing wisdom in the void.

By learning to trust the subconscious and lean into uncertainty, you will expand your capacity for intuitive expression. 

Now that you have seen what you are capable of, let us design your personal architecture.

In our final class, we discuss the parallels between organic, earthly shapes and our creative practices and systems. We then enter a discovery mission: blending conscious decision, divination, and subconscious techniques. In this adventure, we will identify our personal architectures that will act as the supportive bones for what humble work we will do in our lifetimes. We will design the structures that feel natural to us and encourage the most joy in our bodies.

And thusly the portal completes. You are now ready for what is on the other side.
